In the winter semester of 2025/2026, Frieder spent an Erasmus exchange semester at KPH Edith Stein in Stams, where he felt very welcome and had a truly enjoyable and enriching experience. Below, he shares his personal experiences and highlights from his time there.
Our Erasmus semester at KPH Stams was a truly special and enriching experience. From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed both at the KPH Edith Stein and in everyday life. The atmosphere at KPH Stams was open, personal, and supportive, which made it easy for us to settle in and feel at home.
One of the highlights of our time in Tyrol was definitely the winter season. We spent a lot of time outdoors in the mountains and went skiing regularly. Experiencing the FIS World Cup live was especially memorable and made the winter even more special.
Beyond our studies, we had the opportunity to get to know Tyrolean culture and everyday life. Shared activities, excursions, and simple daily moments shaped our Erasmus experience in a very personal way.
The proximity to Innsbruck (IBK) was another great advantage. The city offers a unique combination of urban life, sports, and nature – all surrounded by the Alps.
Looking back, our Erasmus semester at KPH Stams was an incredibly positive experience, both academically and personally. We are very grateful for this time and will take many wonderful memories with us.
